When Talitha was 10 years old her father asked her, 'what do you want to be when you grow up? What would you like to practice?' Talitha said to her father, 'I want to play tennis; I want to be like Venus and Serena.' When her father seeked for tennis lessons at her local park, he found they were way to expensive and decided to put her in a performing arts school instead.
Talitha went to various schools between 2000 and 2005 such as; Curtain Up Theatre School, Allsorts Performing Arts School etc. At these schools she learnt drama, singing and basic commercial and jazz choreography.
Soon enough, Talitha's hobby became something that she was passionate about.
In 2005 Talitha joined Barking and Dagenham Youth Dance where she became confident in commercial, dancehall, lindy-hop, stomp and street dance. During her time at BDYD she got to dance with choreographers from Re:Birth, Boy Blue and Bird Gang; after leaving BDYD in 2007 and doing dance at college Talitha discovered that dancing wasn't what she wanted to solely concentrate on as a career. So she changed her focus to acting and has never looked back since.
She has trained at Identity Drama School and is currently a Spotlight registered working actress. In 2012 Talitha also started writing and producing short films and in 2013 she started dancing again, but in a style she has never tried before; pole dancing.
Talitha says: 'It's taken me many steps and falls to get to where I am today; I truly believe that everything happens for a reason. I still have work to do; learning and developing as a performer is an ongoing journey, which I'm excited to be on. The Arts is where I feel at home.'
